In a significant development on the day of District Governor's visit on 28th March 2024, Rotary Club of Akurdi inaugurated three HDU Services wards/ ICU Recovery Wards at TGH-Onco Life Cancer Centre, Talegaon Dabhade.

The project, with a total cost of Rs. 15 Lakhs, was inaugurated by District Governor Rtn. Manjoo Phadke and was carried out under the CSR initiative of WILO Mather And Platt Pumps Private Limited. The newly inaugurated wards are equipped with Motorized Beds, AGILO Emergency Carts, Altima Prime 5 para monitors, Monitors with CO2 & IBP and other required equipment for three ICU Recovery Wards.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by local Rotary clubs of Talegaon area, with President Elect and other dignitaries from Rotary Club of Talegaon City also present. This initiative reflects Rotary's commitment to enhancing healthcare infrastructure and services for the benefit of the community.
