We are going to experience the Magic of Rotary under the able guidance and eminent leadership of DG Rtn. Shital Shah.
I am very much fortunate to be a part of our District Publication team and happy to work under the able guidance of The District Secretary Publication Avenue Rtn.Vrinda Walimbe. I would also like to express my deep gratitude towards The District Joint Secretary Publication Avenue Rtn.Rushikesh Kulkarni for such an innovative and beautiful layout of GML in blog format and for all the technical support. I am lucky enough to have all the timely support by our most efficient Publication Team. On behalf of our entire Publication Team a very warm welcome to all of you to the special, most attractive pitch that is the GML (Governor’s Monthly Letter). And you will also love the name of our GML. Its name is Magical Innings. Yes it's very much inspiring and the name itself suggests that throughout the year there will be Super Duper Magical Innings.
All Rotarians, Spouses are going to perform and your performance, your projects; all activities are always welcome to the GML. Your participation in every month GML will be creating a historic Magical Inning.
As you all know the GML will be in a blog format for the entire year. So it will be completely paperless. You will be getting a link of GML and you have to make a single click on the link. This single click will open the GML and the entire information from the GML Edition will be available for you. We are very much sure that you will definitely get engrossed in reading a variety of interesting, inspiring information, watching videos, colorful photos, knowing about the different activities, projects etc.
Each and every magical Inning of GML will have the Mandatory Overs and Extra Overs:-
1) DG Desk (DG sharing his valuable thoughts)
2) From the Pavilion (Giving Rotary Avenue Information)
3) Net Practice (Review of Training Seminars)
4) Club Projects (Showcasing the Projects done by various Clubs)
5) Editorial (Editor Sharing her Thoughts)
6) Club Corner (Extra Over, Showcasing the information of each and every club as per the Planned TimeTable)
7) Creative Corner (Extra Over, Showcasing the innovation in the form of poems made by Rotarian or spouse. It may be in Engilsh, Hindi or Marathi.)
8) Rotary Quiz (Extra Over) ; Check your knowledge about Rotary.
So these are all Mandatory overs as well as Extra Overs and definitely you will enjoy all these overs.
On Behalf of the Third Umpire, our Publication team would like to make the request of following things to all the Rotarians and spouses,
1) Please send the information of club projects to the Publication team on the email address :- distpublication2425@gmail.com
2) Check your club's turn for Club Corner and share the club information in prescribed format in specified time. Time table will be shared well in advance so that you will get sufficient time to share the club information.
3) Please participate in the Creative Corner. Each and every member of the club can share his or her own created poem, shero shayari, may be in English, Hindi or Marathi. (All written by Rotarians or spouses only)
4) Do solve the Rotary Quiz as you will get the chance to revise the Rotary knowledge and feel happy.
5) Last but not the least please share the GML with each and every member of your club. Presidents please ensure that the GML link has been shared with each and every member of your club and motivate the members to read the gml. Also as we are proudly serving in Rotary and inspired by the Noble work of Rotary Organization, So please do share the GML link with your friends, relatives, as well as in your professional field. This is the Best Opportunity to share the work of Rotary with the Non Rotary World.
So my Dear Friends, your own magical GML will connect you with the District leadership, District events and will showcase your Noble work. So we hope for your maximum participation in GML and maximum sharing of GML within Rotary and outside Rotary.
