Rotary Sports city – steps forward to enhance health of Adivasi girls 

On the 11th of August Rotary Sports city team conducted an Anaemia detection and Prevention camp along with awareness MHM program at Ashramshala Terungan, Taluka Ambegao for 120 tribal girls.

 Blood tests were conducted, and blood groups were identified along with Haemoglobin level checks. All the girls were given nutrition kit with Multivitamin, Multimineral and Iron Tablets along with Protein supplement powder.

 An awareness of period management and importance of reusable sanitary pads for better health, environment and cost effectiveness was conducted by Youth Aid team and a MHM kit of 5 Reusable sanitary pads were handed over to each girl.

Volunteers- 14 Rotarians & 1 non Rotarian, team of doctors = 12

Man hours - 200 hrs.
