After Multiple NET PRACTICE sessions under the watchful eyes of Captain DGE Shital & expert guidance of Coach PDG Pankaj, all the President Elects were seen TAKING GUARD at the picturesque Nanu Resort in Goa. The Assistant Governor Elects and Avenue Chairman Elects essentially the TOP ORDER were made to go through the grind at AGAC seminar in Rhythm Lonavala. Now it was time for all the Director Elects&their Teams, the MIDDLE ORDER to “STAND & DELIVER” as they padded up to play this one day match called the “DISTRICT TEAM LEARNING SEMINAR” which was held at the Sterling College of Arts Science & Commerce Nerul on the 10^th of March 2024.

President Ratan Kharol set the ball rolling with the all important Toss. As the Opening Batters, Serving DG ManjooPhadkegave her best wishes and convinced the players why they were chosen as the PLAYING 11 while at the other end DGE Shital Shah playing on the front foot, drove home the messageof how TOGETHER EVERYONE CAN ACHIEVE MORE. Coach DLFE PDG Pankaj spoke about the strategy of BREAKOUTS and why the MIDDLE ORDER is the Backbone of any innings. PDG Dr Ulhas Kolhatkar was the STAR PERFORMER of the day, mesmerizing one and all with his exemplary oratory skills and Rotary Knowledge. It was no surprise that he received a “STANDING Ovation” on DELIVERING his magical over. ConvenorRtn. Dr Amodhad everybody in splits with his SHUKRIYA.

The Breakout Sessions thoughtfully designed by DLFE PDG Pankaj ensured active participation of the players and opened a two-way communication channel between the director elects and their teams. Team building and Communication skill games kept the players in the dressing rooms on their toes. The two “Drinks” breaks helped keepall the teams in high spirits.

The SLOG OVERS bowled by DLFE PDG Pankaj & DGE Shital saw the whole spectrum of Yorkers Doosras Slower ones as well as Googlies but the director elects were upto the task and went hammer and tongs with lofted shots reverse sweeps, switch hits &dil scoops as they outlined their Goals and Action Plans for the coming Year.

As you all know in Cricket it isn’t over till the last ball is bowled and President ElectRtn. Shailesh Pote delivered the final SHUKRIYA in Extraaa Innings.
