As part of ongoing health initiative for school children, Rotary Club of Pune Kothrud has recently conducted a comprehensive hemoglobin test to assess the health and nutritional status of students. Club's commitment was to test 1,500 children, but it successfully tested 2,099 students, surpassing  its target. Among these, 181 students were identified as anemic.

To address this issue, club provided iron supplements to all 181 anemic students to help improve their hemoglobin levels and overall health. After a period club will conduct follow-up hemoglobin tests for these 181 students to evaluate the effectiveness of the supplementation and ensure that their health has improved. This effort underscores Club's commitment to the well-being of the students and promoting a healthier, more energetic school environment.
