On December 25, 2023, Rotary Club of Panvel Central proudly inaugurated its most significant and ambitious venture, the Rotary Garden, a generous gift to the public of Panvel City. This momentous occasion, held under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Girish Gune, marked not only the unveiling of the Rotary Garden but also commemorated the first anniversary of the Rotary Ghandat Jungle Project. Both these projects stand testament to the dedication and leadership of the Rotary Club of Panvel Central.

Honourable Ramsheth Thakur ji graced the inauguration ceremony, joined by distinguished individuals, including MLA Prashant Dada Thakur, Shri. J. M Mhatre ji, Shri. Paresh Shet Thakur ji, Shri. Pritam Mhatre ji, and various other prominent figures from Raigarh district. Their presence added significance to the event, and they expressed their appreciation for the commendable work done by the Rotary Club of Panvel Central.

The project received accolades from the local community, with residents expressing gratitude for this invaluable gift from the Rotary Club. The event showcased the success of our commitment to Rotary's slogan, "Create Hope in the World," and our vision of "SWACHHA SUNDAR VA SURAKSHIT PANVEL" (CLEAN, BEAUTIFUL, AND SAFE PANVEL).

Dr. Girish Gune, our mentor, emphasized the environmental benefits of the Rotary Garden and Dense Forest, housing 4300 wild trees. This green oasis contributes to saving the environment, reducing pollution, increasing oxygen levels, and controlling temperature levels. Located in the heart of Panvel City, this Rotary Garden is set to benefit countless Panvelkars.

Achieving a record time completion, the project, which commenced in July, was inaugurated within a short span, showcasing the dedication and efficiency of the Rotary Club of Panvel Central.
