Rotary Community Corps ( RCC) Back

Kind Attention To All The Rotary Clubs In RID 3131

RCC is an important thrust area of our beloved DG Rtn. Sheetal Shah.

RCC will give you a strong platform, where you will have Service opportunity to do variety of multiple projects for a specific community. This will also help in creating strong impact and PI for your club in particular and Rotary in general.

Another small angle to this, a little selfish one, but very important for your club’s performance in the District is, if you start a new RCC, you will fulfill one important eligibility criteria of “Chaukar”, “Shatkar” and “Playing Eleven”.

More than 30 clubs from our district have already formed RCC and also have received Charter for their RCC as well !!! Many other clubs have already done the ground work and now ready to apply for their RCC. Is your club amongst these clubs ?.... If yes .... Congratulations 🎉🎉🎊......you have already completed an important goal for the year!

Those who are yet in the process of formation .... Hurry up and complete the formation ASAP.

For those who want to start forming RCC Club now ….. No Probem !Request you to take following two steps immediately.

1) Talk to your Service Director and along with him, please identify and appoint an enthusiastic, Service oriented senior member as “RCC Chair”. Once this is done, collectively form RCC committee with at least three active members. Tell this enthusiastic and inspired Team about the importance and the reasons why your club should form RCC.

2) I am sharing few informative inputs here. Request you to go through it and train yourself on RCC. This will help you to confidently talk to your RCC Team and advise, guide and motivate them.

You can also share these inputs with Service Director, RCC Chair and Team members.

Let us start this immediately. If you need any help or support, do contact anyone from District RCC Team.

Rotary Community Corps (RCCs)are teams who work in partnership with Rotary clubs to improve their communities. Membership in an RCC is open to any adult in the community who shares Rotary’s commitment to service but is not a Rotary member. Each RCC is sponsored by a Rotary club.

RCCs are formed to help address community needs through service, whether the needs are short-term or ongoing. RCCs can be formed in Urban communities(Teachers / Doctors / Nurses / Bachat Gat / Mohallas / Zopadpattis) and Rural areas (Village based).

WHY ROTARY COMMUNITY CORPS

Empower Communities: By sponsoring RCCs, we empower community members to take the lead in addressing their needs.

Enhance Your Club’s Service Impact: Partnering with RCCs increases your club’s ability to make a lasting difference. Projects are more sustainable and have greater impact when community members are involved in planning, implementation, and long term oversight.

Expand Your Club’s Reach: RCCs open Rotary to a wider audience, give your club the opportunity to work with community volunteers, and help you develop deeper relationships with your community.
