In a heartwarming initiative, the Rotary Club of Pune Kothrud has successfully renovated the Matoshree Old Age Home, bringing immense satisfaction to its beneficiaries. Completed in March 2024, this renovation project has significantly improved the living conditions for more than 60 elderly residents and 60 children.

Recognizing the need for a clean and hygienic environment, the Rotary Club undertook comprehensive infrastructure repairs. This included wall plastering, repairing and cleaning windows and doors, plumbing and toilet repairs and painting. These efforts have created a comfortable living space, free from inconveniences such as water leakages, wet floors, dusty surfaces and clogged toilets.

The transformation was evident in the joyful faces of the residents and the positive feedback from the home’s administration. The success of this project has bolstered the confidence of donors and sponsors in the work of Rotary. 

This impactful project was made possible through a generous CSR donation from PRGX India Pvt. Ltd. Their support was instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of the renovation.
