Club Information :-

In early years, club excelled in carrying out career guidance seminars all over Maharashtra for a decade. It also undertook service projects like providing  drinking water facilities on bus stands, Blood donation and health check up camps etc. Later on it  excelled in more ambitious projects like providing Dialysis machines in hospitals for providing treatment at nominal costs to needy, collecting funds for polio eradication and also giving polio vaccine to children .It also raised funds for relief in natural disasters and other occasions .

As the club matured, it embraced more ambitious projects with the support of overseas Rotary clubs and The Rotary Foundation under Matching Grants and Global Grants schemes. The club successfully executed more than 20 larger projects. Notable initiatives include: Integrated Village Development at Village Hivre near Pune. Installing drinking water facilities in 30 schools on the outskirts of Pune. Providing CNC Machines Equipping hospitals with eye surgery instruments. Upgrading and Expanding of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Tarachand Hospital, Supporting Sevasadan School for physically challenged students with self-sustaining equipment, Happy school Projects and many more.

The club has produced distinguished leaders who served beyond its borders. Notably:

Rtn. Dr. Sudhir Rashingkar (District Governor, 1991-92).

Rtn. Ghisubhai Solanki (District Governor, 2004-05).

Club also has excelled in sponsoring 14 Rotary Clubs in the City of Pune over the years.

Club  will  enter new phase to make it bigger, Bolder and Stronger in “Service Above Self.”
