Powerplay Rotary District 3131 Foundation Seminar: A Successful Event Hosted by Rotary Club of Pimpri.

An interesting story telling for giving to Rotary in APF Apna Pura Phayda

On November 30, 2024, the Rotary Club of Pimpri organized a highly impactful and engaging seminar on the Rotary Foundation at Marigold Banquets. The seminar was part of the Powerplay Rotary District 3131 initiative, which aimed to educate and inspire Rotary members and other community leaders about the significant work and impact of the Rotary Foundation.

The Magic of giving to The Rotary Foundation has been miraculous in District 3131 with tremendous efforts of Foundation Team led by Foundation Director Rtn Nitin Mulay.

We were blessed by the inspiring words of Chief Guest - Rotary International Director Elect Rtn Er Muruganandam M. He enlightened all of us once again on the Four way Test  with  the Statistics where India stands in giving and membership @  World no 2.

The seminar commenced with a welcome address by the President of Rotary Club of Pimpri Rtn Santosh Giranje, Convenor Rtn Dr Manish Pharande who set the tone for the day by emphasizing the importance of the Rotary Foundation in achieving global peace and sustainable development. The Rotary Foundation’s mission of "Doing Good in the World" was at the heart of the discussion throughout the day.

Rtn. KailashMonga mentioned about his part of story, about club project Kamayani school and polio corrective surgery and Why he Contributed to Foundation, it was indeed motivating and making the Rotarians understand how to convince friends around to donate  

The key highlight of the seminar was the presentation by prominent guest speakers from within the Rotary community, who provided valuable insights into the various programs supported by the Rotary Foundation, including efforts to combat disease, provide clean water, promote education, and strengthen communities.

The seminar also included a special segment of Panel Discussion, encouraging Rotarians to explore new ways of collaborating and taking action. DRFC PDG Rtn Dr ShaileshPalekar conducted informative panel discussion with Rtn. Charu Shrotri , Rtn. Vilas Kothari, Rtn. Kumar Shingare. Emphasis was placed on the role of the Rotary Foundation in creating lasting change by funding initiatives that address critical issues such as poverty, education, and healthcare.We got to know more capacity of our district Rotarian in APF donations and to achieve the target through various awards distributed in various categories. Foundation Director Rtn. Nitin Mulay gave the elaborated APF report and made us understand the strategy for donations and told that clubs should not compete with each other

There was recognition given to each Rotarian who donated above $1000 along with non Rotarians donation.

The Powerplay Rotary District 3131 Foundation Seminar 2024 will undoubtedly be remembered as an essential milestone in fostering greater collaboration and commitment to humanitarian service in the region.
