Thank you Team Parikrama for a wonderful event.
Starting with DS Unmesh and DS Vivek for initiating the planning process, Vivek for acting quick on hotel bookings, Abhijit for wonderful designs of car stickers, flyers, Momentoes, gift items and much more. It was heartening to see everybody following the instructions given by the convenor Ravindra aka Vishwas and it was more heartening to see the convenor and host club presidents, Ashok and Vijay and their teams taking such good care of the arrangements.
As a Governor, I was left with hardly any work during the rally other than following the instructions of the leader of the rally, Convenor, Ravindra and probably that’s why I enjoyed the rally even more.
New friendships being built and learning so much more about the old friends is surely a heady mix and we all will cherish the memories for a long time to come.

After the flag off from DG office, Pune by DGE Shital Shah and DGN Santosh Marathe, rally started its unique journey where Governor led from the front, initiating the tie ups with all concerned district governors and ensuring proper arrangements. And also, the first time we implemented our own projects in other districts enroute.

3. ⁠Visit to Nursing course institute run by RC Manor for girls from Jammu & Kashmir. They have trained more than 100 students till now. D-3141
4. ⁠Visit to the Gallery of Past RI President Kalyan Banerjee. Various mementos and gifts from across the world on display. Saw a memento given by RID 3131 as well.
5. ⁠Visit to the multi speciality Rotay Hospital spread across 6 acres of land. D - 3060

7. ⁠Implementation of Project Asmita at Statue of Unity for girls from nearby adivasi padas and adivasi girls working in various operations at Statue of Unity. D - 3060

12. ⁠Attended Governor’s official visit meeting of DG Mehul Rathod at RC Ahmedabad Majestic Stars of RID 3055
13. ⁠Wonderfully organised Multi-District RYLA for the girls of Sainiki School of Ganapat University along with RC Mehsana. This was made possible due to tremendous efforts of District Director - New Generation, Rtn Vishnu Mhantre and his team who travelled all the way to Mehsana, Ahmedabad for this RYLA. D-3055
14. ⁠Visit to one of the best designed crematoriums built and being operated by RC Mehsana. So thoughtfully designed considering the needs of people in grief very emphatically. They also have a Physiotherapy center for poor patients in their own Rotary Bhavan premises. D-3055
15. ⁠Vocational Service Excellence Award to the Founder President and Patron in Chief, Dr Ganapat Patel. What an amazing and yet such a humble personality. Ganapat University (GUNI) spread across 250 acres of land. D - 3055
16. ⁠Dinner organised by Rtn Ritu at Udaipur. This was me time for rallyers. Each participant spoke about their own business and family and their experience of the rally. The highlight of the evening was typical lal manss (famous mutton of Udaipur) being served after 2 days of only Veg meals 😂 and of course the music, dance and masti that followed. D - 3056
17. ⁠Grand welcome by RC Neemach at their Rotary Bhavan. D- 3040
18. ⁠Darshan of Mahakaleshwar, one of the 12 Jotirlingas in India. A specially organised Darshan and superb lunch by RC Ujjain. D - 3040
19. ⁠A grand spread of typical Indore Sarafa cuisine by the District Governor Ritu and DGE Anish. What a fabulous menu it was! So many different varieties. Had a great time trying them.
20. ⁠Visit to Indore Sarafa Bazar just for an experience if not to eat anything since we were already full with the spread arranged by DG Ritu.
21. ⁠Breakfast at Sendhava and visit to their Dialysis center, Happy School and Happy Anganwadi Project. A small rural club with huge work for sure. D - 3040
22. ⁠Another grand lunch of typical cuisine served in the region by a newly chartered club of RC Malegaon Vision. Set in a complete rural ambience of KHAT and tables.
23. ⁠Industrial Visit to Sula Vineyard and wine testing
24. ⁠Gala Night on the last night of the rally. Bestest of the foods and fellowship along with DJ and dance. What fun we had! Other Rotarians from our home district 3131 joined in from Pune for this wine fellowship along with District Fellowship Director, Rtn Yogesh Bhide and his team.
25. Special Darshan at Shirdi to take divine blessings of Shree Sai Baba.
26. ⁠Grand welcome back into home district 3131 by RC Alephata Central, the co-host club of the rally. They organised a Varat in the town and made us all wear Phetas. This was followed by a typical Maharashtrian lunch of Bhakri, Bharali Vaangi, chatani and what not! Participants were overwhelmed by the hospitality of the Co-hosts
27. ⁠Rally ended at Blue Water Hotel at Ravet, Pune over a high-tea, felicitations of all participants and distribution of mementoes and gifts to all. We also felicitated the newly elected District Governor for RY 2026-27, Rtn Nitin Dhamale.

All in all, a very satisfying, fulfilling and enriching experience.
