District Event Peace Building and Conflict Resolution Back
Activities of Peace Building and Conflict Resolution Avenue in the month of September

1.On 4th September Royal Club had arranged Peace Award function.
2.On 10th September Manache Ganpati Darshan @ Pune was arranged.
RID 3131 had invited 10/ 15 Rotarians from RID 3142 on 10th Sept 7 am for Ganpati Darshan in Pune. ЁЯМ╕ЁЯЩП
Darshan Walk started from Saras Baug Ganpati , followed by Kasaba Peth ( Manacha 1st), Tambadi Jogeshwari (Manacha 2nd), Guruji Talim ( Manacha 3rd), Tulshibaug ( Manacha 4th), Bhau Rangari, Babu genu and at last Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati.
Darshan Mohim ended with delicious Prasad Bhojan at Pune's Famous Ponna Guest House.
3.On September 14th 2024 Atharvashirsha Pathan at Kasaba Ganapati by Rotarians and friends.
4.September 21st Internationally observed as World Peace Day.

District Team of Peace Building and Conflict Resolution celebrated this day with Peace Walk , Peace Oath, and Peace talks at various places .

a)Peace Building and Conflict Resolution* team has come up with online Meditation for all as a step towards Peace Building.
The day started with Meditation session by Mr. Milind Kelkar from Art of living.
b) Then all attended Peace Talks and Peace Oath at Rosery School.
c) PBCR Team members, RC Poona, RC pradhikaran and RC Parvati members then proceeded to visit City Church. It is a beautiful church that is almost 225 years old in Camp Area, in the premises of St.Ornella School.
The Father of the church spoke on the history of the church and he emphasized the need for Peace.
d) Then proceeded to Gurudwara in Camp area.
The Gurudwara is a very beautiful and serene place.
All had Lunger Prasad at Gurudwara and then visited the Medical Project site by RC Poona which is indeed huge work by the Poona Club.
e) The Peace Walk continued and the next stop was Sarasbag , The ancient Ganesha temple, Many more Rotary members joined for the рдЕрдерд░реНрд╡рд╢реАрд░реНрд╖ рдкрдардг at Sarasbaug.
And the walk was concluded.PBCR member Rtn.Narendra Pal Bakshi had kindly arranged all the visits and the talks by all Priests.
Rtn Bakshi's Club RC Poona was the host of the event. RC Pradhikaran RC Parvati were co hosts, and RC Pristine had hosted the Sarasbaug event.
The International Peace Day was very well spent indeed.
f) Many clubs arranged peace talk and peace oath programs. More than 10000+ interactors, rotaractors and Rotarians and students from different schools took Peace Oath.
g) Some clubs conducted traffic awareness rallies, cycle rallies, drawing competition, elocution competitions in schools.
It's an immense pleasure and proud moment as many clubs participated in this event.

Happy to share that The Peace Building and Conflict Resolution team has come up with online Meditation for all as a step towards Peace Building.
This online Meditation is held on every Saturday from 8 to 8.30am.
