On the occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti and National Youth Day on 12th January 2024, Rotary Club of Poona, in collaboration with Gholap Blood Bank, organized the Sankalp Blood Donation Camp at Sarhad College of Arts, Commerce & Science, Katraj, Pune.

A total of 50 units were collected, and noteworthy was the fact that 60% of the donors at the camp were girls.

Continuing their commitment to health and awareness, on 16th January 2024, Rotary Club Poona supported a "Certificate Course in Health Awareness" at Sarhad College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Katraj, in association with Gholap Blood Bank. Dr. Pallavi Jagtap from Sai Sneh Multi-Speciality Hospital, Katraj, delivered a lecture on "HB Awareness" to over 100 girls.

The dedication persisted as Rotary Club of Poona, on 18th and 19th January 2024, extended support to "Certificate Course in Health Awareness." A total of 88 girl students and 4 boy students from Sarhad College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Katraj, underwent HB checkups. The needy students were provided with Ferrous Ascorbate and Folic Acid tablets. Project Asmita received significant support from Gholap Blood Bank.
