Guru Pournima Celebration

On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, the Rotary Club of Panvel Mahanagar under the Presidentship of Rtn.Arun Khedwal had the distinct privilege of felicitating Mrs. Sujata Rajesh Jogal, Principal of RZP Primary School, Kautalyacha Pada, Nerepada, Nere, Panvel.

The day was celebrated with a heartwarming distribution of books, cloth bags, and pencil boxes to the students of the school, aimed at supporting their educational journey and fostering a love for learning.

 Club expressed its gratitude towards the teachers who play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the children and showed its full hearted willingness to support the efforts of educators  and to contribute to the growth and development of community's youth.

प्लास्टिक कचऱ्यावर मात करण्यासाठी पनवेल महानगर रोटरी क्लबकडून कापडी पिशव्यांचे वितरण

पनवेल महानगर रोटरी क्लबने कापडी पिशव्यांचे वितरण करून प्लास्टिक पिशव्यांना पर्याय देण्याचा अभिनव उपक्रम हाती घेतला आहे. माजी अध्यक्ष व पर्यावरण संचालक सुधीर चाकोळे यांच्या नेतृत्वाखालील या उपक्रमाचा उद्देश प्लास्टिक कचऱ्याचे प्रमाण कमी करणे व समाजात पर्यावरणपूरकता वाढविणे हा आहे. या उपक्रमाद्वारे रस्त्यावरील विक्रेते, गृहसंघ, पोस्ट ऑफिस, भाजी मंडई व शाळांमध्ये कापडी पिशव्यांचे वितरण केले जात आहे.

हा प्रकल्प रोटरीच्या पर्यावरण कार्यक्षेत्राशी सुसंगत असून पनवेल महानगरपालिका क्षेत्रात हजारो कापडी पिशव्यांचे वितरण करण्याचा क्लबचा मानस आहे.

हा प्रकल्प रोटेरियन आशिष आत्रे (त्यांचे वडील स्व. प्रकाश आत्रे यांच्या स्मरणार्थ) आणि बाळकृष्ण खेडवाल (त्यांचे वडील स्व. देवकीनंदन खेडवाल यांच्या स्मरणार्थ) यांच्या प्रायोजकत्वामुळे यशस्वी झाला आहे.

या उपक्रमात इंटरॅक्ट क्लब आणि रोटरी कम्युनिटी कॉर्प्स एम्पॉवर्ड विमेनच्या सदस्यांनीही सक्रिय सहभाग घेतला. यामुळे तरुण पिढ्यांमध्ये पर्यावरणपूरक विचारांचा प्रचार करणे आणि महिलांना सशक्त बनवणे या क्लबच्या ध्येयाची प्रतिमा स्पष्ट होते.
