Rotary District 3131 took a Significant Step Towards a Cleaner Environment,in collaboration with Janwani, Cummins India, KPIT Technologies, PMC.Adarpoonawala clean city Initiative and Mahalaxmi Recyclers, has successfully concluded a month-long initiative aimed at raising Awareness on 4R and facilitating the proper disposal of e-waste and plastic waste in the Pune District.
The initiative emphasized the importance of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Rethink in minimizing waste generation.

By diverting these materials from landfills and ensuring their proper recycling, the initiative has contributed to a significant reduction in land filling, resource conservation & carbon emissions being estimated to be approximately 30 Tons of CO2 equivalent.We are incredibly proud of the collective effort and the significant impact this initiative has made. By working together, we can create a cleaner and greener future for Pune. By promoting responsible waste disposal, we can protect our environment for generations to come.
