The Rotary Club of Panvel Central hosted a remarkable multi-district seminar titled "Tethe Kar Majhe Julti." The event was graced by Chief Guest DG Manjoo Phadke and Honorary Guest DGND Nitin Damale. This multi-district felicitation ceremony celebrated the outstanding achievements of teams from districts 3131, 3060, 3070, 3203, 3132, and 3033.

A highlight of the event was the recognition of three significant projects led by the pride of Rotary Club of Panvel Central, PDG EPNC Rtn. Dr. Girish Gune. Under his exemplary leadership, these projects brought hope and healing to many.

The first project took place in Pulwama, Kashmir, from September 3rd to September 14th, 2023. Amidst the ongoing conflict and firings in Pulwama, our brave doctors persevered and successfully completed 1,223 surgeries. Hearing about this courageous endeavor from Dr. Girish Gune warmed everyone’s hearts and underscored that Rotary is indeed the second name of Hope.

The second Mega Surgical Project occurred in Poonch and Rajouri from February 26th to March 2nd, 2024. A dedicated team of 25 doctors performed 593 surgeries, demonstrating exceptional commitment and skill.

DG Manjoo Phadke expressed her deep appreciation for these projects and the seminar's informative nature. The Rotary Club of Panvel Central was honored to felicitate the Rotary Doctors Team for their extraordinary work during the Mega Surgical Camps. This session provided an invaluable opportunity for attendees to hear firsthand accounts from the doctors, each sharing their personal experiences and the challenges they faced.
