In a heartfelt initiative aimed at supporting the health and well-being of the community's unsung heroes, the Rotary Club of Panvel Symphony, in collaboration with Kalan Samaj Madhyavarti, Shri Siddhivinayak Social Sanstha and MGM College of Physiotherapy, organized the Aarogya Jyoti Medical Camp on 10th March.

The camp, tailored specifically for school bus and auto rickshaw drivers, as well as household maids, provided a range of essential healthcare services. These included dental checkups and hygiene advice, bone density assessments, random sugar tests, blood pressure monitoring, O2 saturation checks and ECGs as advised.

Moreover, a comprehensive Work-Fitness Assessment was conducted, which involved Job Demand Analysis, Task Analysis, Fitness assessments, Risk factor analysis, ergonomic advice and individual counseling. Additionally, the camp facilitated the generation of Ayushma Bharat E-Insurance Cards with the help of designated Aarogyamitras, ensuring long-term healthcare access for the beneficiaries.

Each beneficiary also received a medical kit, contributing to their ongoing health maintenance. In total, 107 individuals benefited from the camp, with 67 individuals successfully registered for Ayushman Bharat scheme E-Insurance cards.

This initiative not only addressed immediate health concerns but also emphasized the importance of preventive healthcare and access to medical services for these essential members of society. Such collaborative efforts exemplify the spirit of community service and compassion, echoing Rotary's commitment to making a meaningful difference in people's lives.
