Reflecting on my year as president of RCP Deccan Gymkhana during our 20th anniversary celebration with DG Manjoo Phadke, it was truly special for all of us. Throughout the year, we organized numerous impactful projects and meetings that brought hope to our community.

We started the year with a lot of excitement and a clear goal to make a positive difference in people's lives. We worked tirelessly on projects that addressed important issues like education, healthcare and environmental sustainability. These efforts were not just about completing tasks but about creating lasting impacts and spreading hope.

One of our proudest moments was celebrating our club's 20th anniversary alongside DG Manjoo Phadke, who inspired us with her leadership and dedication to Rotary's mission. It was a milestone that reminded us of our commitment to service and the values we uphold.

A standout achievement of the year was the successful hosting of Confluence 24, a prestigious district event that brought together leaders and enthusiasts from across our community. As the host club, it was a lifetime opportunity and a source of immense pride to serve during such a significant gathering. Confluence 24 served as a platform for idea exchange, forging friendships and launching initiatives to address community challenges.

Throughout the year, our meetings were filled with energy and ideas. We brainstormed ways to tackle local challenges and collaborated with community leaders to implement effective solutions. Every project we undertook was a testament to the power of teamwork and the passion we share for making our community a better place.

As we look back on the year, we are grateful for the support of our members, partners and especially DG Manjoo Phadke, whose guidance and encouragement kept us motivated. The impact we've made together fills us with pride and it fuels our determination to continue serving with compassion and dedication.

Looking ahead, we are excited about the opportunities to further our impact and create more hope in our community. The experiences of this past year have strengthened our resolve and deepened our commitment to Rotary's ideals of “Service Above Self.”
