RYLA BY ROTARY CLUB OF NIGDI PUNE 

A three day RYLA Event was successfully Conducted on 11th Dec. to 13th Dec. at Mamasaheb Mohol Memorial School in  Pirangut bringing together over 600 enthusiastic participants from 30+ schools across the district. This action-packed event featured a variety of sports and games, including Wrestling, Kabaddi, Running, Long Jump, and Kho Kho, among many others. The overwhelming participation and excitement from the youth made this RYLA one of its kind in the entire district.

The event was inaugurated by our esteemed District Governor Rtn. Shital Shah, whose presence was a source of inspiration for all participants. The prize distribution ceremony was held on last day at the hands of club President Suhas Dhamale , First Lady Rtn. Sujata Dhamale & other  Rotarians.

Adding a remarkable milestone to this event, club is  proud to announce the installation of the Interact Club of Mamasaheb Mohol Memorial School, Pirangut. During the ceremony, pins were handed over to the newly appointed President and Secretary of the Interact Club.The Interact members were also briefed with the various projects and programs organized by Rotary to engage the youth in community service and leadership development. This event was a significant step towards empowering the youth, fostering leadership, and creating positive change within the community.

Inauguration of Shri Bhairavnath Vidyamandir School Building

A significant milestone was achieved  with the inauguration of the Shri. Bhairavnath Vidyamandir school building in Varale, Tal Maval on11th Dec.This momentous occasion marks a crucial step towards providing quality education to the rural community.

The school building is a result of a remarkable CSR initiative by Baker Hughes in association with the Rotary Club of Nigdi Pune. This collaborative effort demonstrates the power of partnership in driving positive change.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including President Rtn. Suhas Dhamale, PP Rtn. Vijay Kalbhor, and Service Director Rtn.Ashwin Kulkarni. Their presence underscored the importance of community involvement in education.

Shri Bhairavnath Vidyamandir, established in 2000, has been providing education to students from Grades 8 to 10.¹ The school's mission to provide education in rural areas has been strengthened by this new infrastructure.

The Rotary Club of Nigdi Pune and Baker Hughes have set an exemplary model for corporate-social responsibility and community service. This initiative will have a lasting impact on the educational landscape of the region.
