In a remarkable effort to improve educational facilities and infrastructure in underserved areas, the Rotary Club of Pune Katraj has successfully completed the "Happy School" project at Bholawade School. This initiative, spearheaded by Past President (PP) Nitin Naik, demonstrates the club’s unwavering commitment to community welfare and educational excellence.

The project was set in motion when PP Nitin Naik, informed by his employee Rakesh about the critical needs at Bholawade School in his native village, saw an opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Accompanied by President Milind, he visited the school to assess the requirements firsthand. An official letter from the school detailed various urgent needs, prompting immediate action.

Under the dedicated coordination of Rtn Vikas Waghmare, the club mobilized support through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives to address the identified needs comprehensively. The project included essential upgrades and renovations such as:

• Toilet Repair: Ensuring hygienic facilities for students and staff.
• Drinking Water Installation: Providing access to clean and safe drinking water.
• Classroom Renovation: Enhancing the learning environment for students.
• PA System Installation: Improving communication during school events and gatherings.
• Painting of External Walls: Revitalizing the school's appearance and environment.
• Stage Construction: Enhancing the meeting hall for school functions and community events.

These improvements not only addressed immediate infrastructure needs but also significantly boosted the overall morale and educational experience of the students at Bholawade School.
