Hello Friends in Rotary. I am getting lot of opportunities to interact with you all during District Events, DG Visits, Club events where you all lovingly invite me. Having said that, this monthly chat with you all is a great opportunity for me to share with you all, what is happening in District 3131 and how this year is shaping up.

There has been whirlwind of Rotary action in last 4 months. Let me share few highlights:

Huge participation by Clubs in Playing 11 Thrust Areas

55 RCCs

23 New Interact Clubs

15 Rotaract Clubs

Grand launch of Asmita Daughter Empowerment Project with 35 Clubs participating.

Robust action seen in Global Grants application by 6 Clubs and CSR Grants applications by 8 Clubs

508 Net Growth in Membership, which commands us top position in zone 7 takes us to no. 1 position in zone 7 and no. 2 in South Asia.

Service Project and PI Seminar in sync was super hit and concluded on a high note. Both the avenue teams presented the work in their avenues in very creative and interesting way. We got an overwhelming response for “Rotary Che Indradhanu part 2” cultural extravaganza. District 3131 Diwali Dhamaka, “SUREL Diwali Pahat" hosted by RC Nanded City in association with RCP Sarasbaug was Grand Success with the whooping 2100 registrations. Seminar on farmer's equipment was another important initiative. You can read details about the same in Rtn. Vijay Kalbhor’s report. Green Society And Green Factory vertical of Environment Avenue has planned Awareness forum, “Green Meet” at Kharghar hosted by RC Kharghar on 10 November 2024.

District Car Rally is shaping up nicely. Already 60 plus Rotarians have registered for multi District HUMSAFAR CAR RALLY scheduled on 14th to 21st December. TRF Seminar is scheduled on 30th Nov and it is my earnest appeal to fellow Rotarians to donate generously and attend the seminar. Plenty of awards and recognitions are on cards.

And now few words about highlight event of the year. District Conference DISCON T25 is scheduled on 1 and 2 Feb 2025. We have good registration numbers. I invite all Rotarians and spouses to register for this important event of the year.
